Hey everyone! It’s Kari from Paper Wings again, with a fun easy craft for Easter! These fabric mache Easter baskets make great gifts and decor as well as being great Easter treat baskets for the kids. It can be a bit messy with the Mod Podge, so you can do this outside on the sidewalk/driveway, or on a protected surface inside. But what a great excuse to be outside in this spring weather, right?!
Today’s Family Night lesson is about treasure–something that leprechauns know all about! How do we find our own treasure? What type of treasure should we be seeking? Is it a pot of sparkly gold or something even more valuable? Let’s find out what this heavenly treasure hunt is all about!
Today I’m sharing these sweet surprise treat carrots! They are super easy to make (as always, because I love super easy!), a fun way to hide Easter treats and a great project your kids can help you make.
Well the leaves have all fallen, leaving the trees bare and winter-cold, why not snap off a few small branches and create this easy, kid friendly Valentine craft?
I always love when my kiddos can help me create holiday decor pieces, it just adds so much!
Hi all! Sierra here from The Blue Cottage! Since this season is the perfect time of the year to focus on gratitude, I’m showing you how to make a cute little gift idea you can share with a neighbor, friend, teacher or even your mailman/lady to let them know how much you appreciate them in your life. My kids helped me put these sweet little hot chocolate snow globes together, so it’s a great activity to involve the whole family and it only takes 3 easy steps!
Crafting with candy is a sure fire way to get kids wanting to get creative. When candy is involved, I know my kids will be up for anything. 🙂 My son is a builder. He tells me that all he wants to do is build. Knowing his love for building (and candy) we used some Airheads candy to make a Snoopy Dog house.
For homeschool, we learned all about bees. Have you ever learned about bees?? Holy smokes, those things are AMAZING. In a future post, I’ll share with you some of my favorite products for teaching kids about bees. But in the meantime, I wanted to share this project with you… making BEESWAX CANDLES WITH KIDS.
These beeswax candles make great gifts (free printable gift tag included!), home decor, and fun memories of making them with the family.
I love that that Holiday Season begins with a focus on gratitude. The month of November is an ideal time to make a list of all the things you are grateful for. This festive Thanksgiving Family Night idea was created to help each member of your family understand the importance of “stuffing their lives” with gratitude for their many blessings.
It is so much fun to share a Disney related craft each month, but it seems like lately the universe is buzzing with just one thing… Star Wars! With the new movie coming out right before Christmas and Star Wars Season of the Force coming to Disneyland in just a few weeks, I knew I had to make something that celebrated the two.
Just like the Disneyland Resort got a dazzling transformation for the Diamond Celebration, the classic Cinderella got a pretty incredible makeover! And with Halloween right around the corner, I thought it would be fun to pretend I’m a Fairy Godmother and transform our classic Cinderella play dress into the modern version with beautiful butterfly accents. Luckily, you won’t need a magic wand to for this Cinderella dress makeover. All you need is an hour of time and a few craft supplies. Can you say Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo?
Hello peeps! I know, I know. Halloween isn’t for a while, but it’s never to early to get a head start on festive DIY projects right?? I really don’t have very many Halloween decorations… let alone homemade Halloween decoration… Like, I think I have one, and it’s a throw pillow. So, I AM EXCITED about…
Hi it’s Sierra here from The Blue Robin Cottage! I am so excited to share a fun, girly craft with you today! Fall fabric hair bows are the perfect way to top off any outfit.
But first, tell me if you can identify with this scenario:
You’re getting your little lady ready for school: she’s all dressed, teeth are brushed and you’ve just finished doing a Pinterest perfect hairstyle (I’m still trying to work on this part), and now all you need is a hair bow to match.
