Hearty Chicken Stew w/ Butternut Squash & Quinoa ~ Olives from Spain

Olives are one of my favorite foods! Maybe it’s because of my Greek ancestory, or maybe it’s because olives are just plain awesome. They’re naturally sugar-free and have lots of good monounsaturated fats. They’re delicious in salads, soups, spreads, or just by themselves. I love the variety of colors, flavors and how healthy they are….

This Chicken Gnocchi Soup is a favorite Olive Garden copycat recipe. It's a perfect winter soup that's easy-to-make and family friendly! www.orsoshesays.com #chickensoup #gnocchi #olivegarden #chickengnocchisoup #soup

Chicken Gnocchi Soup ~ Olive Garden Knock-Off!

Maybe it’s because I’ve had a cold since… oh, Christmas. Really! Is this happening to anyone else?? The never-ending sickness? Right when I think it’s starting to get better, the next day it’s worse than before. Sooooo annoying. Anyway, I want soup for every meal of the day right now. The hotness feels so good on my throat and warms my chills. Mmmmm…. soup.

One of my favorite places to get soup is at Olive Garden. You could probably relate, I’m sure. They have some great ones! My latest fave has been their Chicken Gnocchi Soup.

Slow Cooker Chunky Clam Chowder (she: Gina)

Hi there everyone!!! It’s Gina from Kleinworth & Co. Hope you all are as excited about this chilly fall weather as I am. The colors have faded here in North Idaho & the trees are bare. It won’t be long before the snow has fallen. Which means it’s time for soup. I love throwing a bunch of ingredients into the slow cooker & smelling that wonderfulness drifting through the house all day long. Then when it’s dark & it’s dinner time we can sit down for a warm bowl of something delicious. My current favorite is this slow cooker Chunky Clam Chowder.

Happy Fall Or So She Says readers! It’s Jana here again from Double the Deliciousness and I’ve got a recipe that is so hearty, cheesy and perfect for Fall that it’ll be a staple on your Fall menu. For my family it’s a weekly staple!

I love that it is pretty inexpensive (minus the bacon…jeeze it’s getting out of control!) and easy to throw together. We don’t even peel our potatoes, just wash well and dice. This cheesy bacon potato soup can be ready in about 30 minutes. Perfect!

Well, actually… Caprese anything and I’m all over it! I’m seriously totally in love with that fresh mozzarella and basil- you’ll never get me away from the table 🙂

The only tomatoes that are ripe in my garden so far are the Sunburst variety BUT, I am growing several different varieties of heirloom tomatoes and I just can’t wait for them to ripen up!

Pear and Pecan Spring Salad (she: Jana)

Hello everyone! It’s Jana from Double the Deliciousness here to bring you another fabulous recipe!
When it starts warming up and the days start getting longer I only want to eat sandwiches and salads (much to the dismay of my meat & potatoes kind of family). And this, my friends, is one of my favorite go-to salads. My friend told me about this wonderful pear and pecan spring salad. She proceeded to tell me all the ingredients in it and I wasn’t too excited about it, but then she made it…and I tried it… and I was hooked! The sweet and savory of this salad blends perfectly with poppyseed and vinaigrette dressings! Even my kids enjoy it, and that’s saying a lot for a salad! (although 2 of them do pick out the cranberries.:))

So, do me a solid and try this one…don’t judge it before you know it or you’ll be missing out!

White Bean Pesto Soup (she: Cathy)

White Bean Pesto Soup (she: Cathy)

I don’t know about where you live….but where I live, it’s COLD! Not as cold as it has been, that’s for sure, but cold enough that you don’t really want to be outside. EVER! And cold enough that when you are outside for any extended period of time, all you want to do is come back inside, put on some sweatpants, and eat a big bowl of soup! This White Bean Pesto Soup is the perfect thing to cozy up to on a cold winter day. It combines some of my favorite things….and best of all, it’s topped with a big spoonful of pesto to give it an amazingly rich and delicious flavor! So even if you did happen to find yourself outside in the cold, you wouldn’t mind. Because at least you’d know you have THIS to look forward to!
