I have tried many cinnamon rolls in my life, as I’m sure you have. It seems that most are either too dense, too hard, don’t have enough frosting, or just don’t taste that great. At one point, I was a loyal daughter, committed to my mother’s cinnamon rolls. But, one day my sister-in-law brought over…
Bread pudding is definitely at the top of my ‘favorite desserts’ list, but there’s something about it that just seems hard and time consuming. Oh my friends, it’s not. At least, this recipe for Bread Pudding with Butterscotch Chips is not. I can have it prepared and ready to bake in 10 minutes and ready…
It has felt like spring for weeks! Which makes me want everything lemon! In my food, in my laundry, in my cleaning products, even in my car. Everywhere!! That’s why I decided it was time to make lemon blueberry drop scones.
All I had to hear was Copycat IHOP Cheesecake Pancakes and I knew I needed to make them ASAP and get them in my belly. And, the idea of smothering them in strawberry or blueberry sauce takes this to a whole other level. Come to mama!!
IHOP could easily be renamed IHOT, International House of Torture, because it’s practically impossible to settle on one menu item. I want to order like 7 things, all for me. Torture! But, how awesome is it that now we can all make a knock-off recipe of theirs, Copycat IHOP Cheesecake Pancakes, thanks to the Food Network?!? I found this recipe in their magazine years ago, ripped it out, and had it stuffed in the back of my cookbook cupboard. I’m so glad I found it… heaven on a plate.
This loaded breakfast skillet is our go-to brinner when we have veggies in the fridge that need to be used up. It’s so fast, filling, and easily adaptable to whatever veggies you have on hand.
Blackberry muffins are the perfect mix of tart and sweet, and they’ll make a great on-the-go breakfast for the whole family! Hey everyone! It’s Jana….back again! I took a little hiatus from blogging but am so glad Mariel and OSSS invited me back to bring you some of my favorite food! Today I’m sharing my…
This omelette is a great clean-out the fridge recipe that comes together in a snap. Use up those summer veggies in this dish, and enjoy the burst of flavor for the most important meal of the day.
These breakfast burritos are a favorite at both of our houses for both quick dinners and for camping. For me to sleep in the wilderness, the food has got to be pretty darn good and these breakfast burritos don’t disappoint. They can be made 100% ahead of time and wrapped in foil until you’re ready to heat them up over the campfire or camp stove. Having everything prepped and ready ahead of time makes camping so much more enjoyable for us!
My girls recently have come to love hashbrowns because they are similar enough to french fries. It was those words that I said that convinced them to try them, “they taste like french fries”. And they haven’t turned back! My 3 year old said last week when we had these, “Mom, I just can’t stop eating these”! It was too cute!
We like to encourage our kids to be adventurous eaters and to try new things, but new things are not always well received, so breakfast is usually a safe and familiar favorite for nights when complaints about dinner are too much to handle. These deluxe waffles are a favorite “brinner” option in our families!
Hey all! Leesh & Lu here. I guess it might be a stretch to really call this a recipe, so let’s just call it dinner (or breakfast!) inspiration. This is one meal I will never tire of. I ate it at least 4x per week for 2+ years and always looked forward to it. You can customize the ingredients any way you’d like, and even try your hand at making your own english muffins some time!
