I don’t need a lot for Father’s Day. In fact, my Father’s Day wish list is pretty low-key. Perhaps this is the sentiment of most dads on Father’s day, that we would much rather focus on our own fathers than we would ourselves. If I must be given something for Father’s Day then I guess I will break down and come up with a Father’s Day wish list. I have also thrown in a couple of “do nots” as well. My guess is while I don’t speak for all fathers out there, I would assume that most of us would be happy with one, a combination of, or if you are feeling spry, all of the following.
I absolutely love reading books, and I had so much fun going through the Barnes & Noble Father’s Day Gift Guide to get some ideas to share with you. Luckily, my husband is also an avid reader, so doing this with him in mind was perfect. I hope it’s helpful for you, too, as you think about what to give the men in your lives.
Or so she says… readers, what is up?! It’s Mariah here again to give you and your kidlets some great Father’s Day gift ideas for the men in your lives. I think everyone loves getting something homemade from their kids; from macaroni necklaces to finger-paint drawings, there’s just something SO MUCH more special about homemade/handmade/DIY gifts. So today I’ve got 23 Easy Homemade Father’s Day Gift Ideas from all over the World Wide Web to help you make someone’s Father’s Day SO MUCH more special. 🙂
This is a fun activity that you can play any time, but because Father’s Day is coming, I thought I’d put a fun spin on it. It’s a game that is typically called “Don’t Eat Pete”, and we love it. It’s a great game for ALL AGES, which is always a huge bonus. For Father’s Day we’ve changed the name to “Don’t Eat Dad”.
I am currently about 20 weeks pregnant with our first baby and I am kind of really excited to celebrate my husband this Father’s Day. We find out if it is a boy or a girl the day after so pretty much his greatest gift will come a day late but I am excited to give him a few things as a thank you for putting up with my pregnant aversion to all things meat. Poor guy eats a lot of salad and fast food burgers right now.
My husband is a quiet guy, more of an observer and is really easy going. That is a great thing except when it comes to giving gifts…
Hello everyone! It’s Mariah again. Hopefully you’re not too sick of hearing from me, because Mariel asked me to share some of my hubby’s favorite things for a Father’s Day gift guide. I’m pretty excited!
My husband Trevor and I have been married for almost 3 years now. He is DA BOMB! He is so perfect for me, it’s ridiculous. And, man, he is a great daddy! I can’t wait to spoil him this Father’s Day!
Hello again, it’s Veronica! Can you tell Father’s Day is one of my favorite holidays? I love celebrating dads! One of my dad’s strengths has always been expressing love for us. Some of my sweetest memories of Father’s Day were the moments when my dad let us know why HE was thankful to BE OUR DAD.
So, I thought I’d make a fun printable for any dad’s out there who would like to take a minute to let their kids know why he loves being their dad!
Hello! It’s Veronica and I’m so happy to be here this month! Since Father’s Day is coming, I thought I’d share some ideas for Family Night with DAD! Why?! Because they are so very important, and so very awesome!! I’ve had a ton of fun ideas swimming around in my little brain, so it was hard to whittle it down. There are a lot of ideas, so just choose what would work the best for your family. I’m also sensitive to the fact that not everyone may have a father in their home, so feel free to adapt it for a grandfather or close friend. They could be your guest of honor for the night!
Hello all! I’m Kari, and I’m so excited to share my very first post with you! Today I’m sharing 4 fun traditions to try this Father’s Day… and hopefully for years to come!
Come check them out and you’re sure to find a new family tradition to use for this upcoming Father’s Day!!
If you’re looking for some gift ideas for men, chances are that a book is a great idea. But, the hard part is knowing which one to get, right? I got you covered. I talked to my Facebook gals, had them hit up their men to find out their most favorite book, and then tell me all about it. Real men, real favorites. Here’s 15 of the books they suggested (some new favorites, others are favorites from their childhood, that they still love today.) I hope you find the perfect one!
When you’re done checking these out, be sure to see my Father’s Day Gift Ideas for 2014, follow my Gifts for Men Pinterest board, and check out the Gifts for Men categories tab, where you’ll find all previously shared gifts for men that have been featured on the blog.
Hey, hey, hey! Just got back from a fun week in Alaska… just me and the man. It was SO nice. SO pretty. SO relaxing. I’m ready to go back already! I’m working on a couple blog posts, to tell you all about it. But before I do, I better get crackin’ on this Father’s Day business. Eeeek! It totally snuck up on me… like Mother’s Day, my anniversary, 2014, and practically everything, these days.
So, between my husband’s favorite things and a few goodies I found on my own, I present to you some Father’s Day gift ideas… Mariel’s Picks 2014. After you check these out, scroll to the end of the post for links to past gift ideas for men. There’s lots of them!
Hello everyone! How are you all? It’s Brooke from Blissful Roots. Are you in the full-swing of summer vacation mode? We sure are, and I’m loving every minute of it! My four-year-old, and I, are thrilled to have my twins home all day. It’s so fun to plan different activities, or just spend some relaxing playtime at home. I’m just hoping all of our summer vacation weeks go this smoothly!
So, today’s post. I was in my favorite local scrapbook store (Pebbles in My Pocket) a few weeks ago, and they had this adorable Father’s Day treat put together. Mustaches are everywhere these days, aren’t they? And while my husband doesn’t have a mustache, and I don’t know that ties are his favorite, I absolutely loved how they dressed up a simple bag of candy (which my husband does love).
