We Are MORE (he: Dan)

As far back as I can recall, I was taught to treat others as I have would them treat me. I grew up with the understanding that all men were created equally precious in the sight of God, that He was no respecter of persons, and that everyone we interact with was to be given our respect and love.

I believed in what I was taught. I have always known in faith that we are spirit children of God and have an infinite capacity for good. Occasionally I get a glimpse of the love He must feel for us.

October 2016 Visiting Teaching Message – A Free Printable to Share! (she: Jeri)

As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, we are in a congregation where we are asked to go and visit assigned ladies each month to really get to know them, share a quick message and find out if they have any needs to be met. For those of you who aren’t members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I hope you can use these quotes and scriptures as well. Most of the subjects are universal Christian subjects and the quotes and scriptures are inspiring and helpful for everyone!

How to Create Your Dream Home in a Simple Way (she: Sariah)

What is the home of your dreams? Maybe your mind immediately wanders through your Pinterest boards of beautiful, spacious homes, white cabinets and striking marble counter tops. Perhaps eye catching decor, fun nooks, entertainment areas and play areas with perfectly organized toys and books and on and on.

Does God hear prayers?

Does God Hear Prayers? (she: Lindsay)

For the most part, I think God wants us to do what we want to do. As long as we’re anxiously engaged in a good cause, He doesn’t necessarily care how we go about doing that. WE get to choose. We get to choose with God. The power is in us to govern ourselves. And make our own choices. And do things that make our souls come alive. So we get to make a decision and go the direction we want to go as long as we’re going about doing good.

October 2015 Visiting Teaching Message Printable (she: Kiki)

When I think of all of the problems, the issues, the struggles and the trials in life, I have no doubt that we could all make it through life a little happier if we all followed this message of charity and love. We would look outward to serve and bless and each time I have done that in my life, I am filled with love for others immediately. I made these sweet printables for you to share (and keep) and hope they will help to share the message this month!

September 2015 Visiting Teaching Message Printable (she: Kiki)

First of all, let me explain visiting teaching. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, we are in a congregation where we are asked to go and visit certain ladies each month to really get to know them, share a quick message and find out if they have any needs that need to be met. It’s one of the ways we build friendships and help our leaders know any needs that families have.

I love this! It's so important to stand up for our beliefs and be a light to the world.

Ashamed No More ~ A Lesson Learned in 6th Grade (he: Dan)

Though unaware then, I now view our family moving the year between 5th and 6th grade as being inspired. Not just for the family, but for me specifically. I really needed to get away from the environment I was creating for myself. I have no doubt that my bad momentum would have carried over into my 6th grade year had we stayed.

Avoiding Thin Ice ~ A Life Lesson (he: Dan)

I still skirt too close to the red snow in my life at times but as I have grown older, I have better been able to recognize the times when I am setting myself up for a fall. I am thankful for a Savior who has given me a course to keep me safe but also assists me in pulling out of peril when I have broken through the thin-ice.

Love One Another – Learning to Love (she: Lindsay)

I think sometimes we over-complicate what life is all about. If we were to boil life down to one main purpose, it would be to learn to love one another. To learn to love like God loves. Without reservation, without conditions, without judgement. To learn to love. To really love. And to treat each other accordingly. That’s it. But how do we accomplish this? Read on to see some suggestions.

June 2015 Visiting Teaching Message (she: Kiki)

Let me explain visiting teaching. (There would be too many for them to visit them all!) So why do I love printables + visiting teaching? I LOVE putting to paper thoughts and quotes that inspire and uplift me, my family and those around me and visiting teaching has been such a blessing in my life.
