When it comes to your vacation, there are definitely some tricks for saving money at Disneyland. I’m Kimberly with Packed with Fun, the official blog for Get Away Today and I just barely returned (again) from Disneyland with my two kids. Let me tell you, the more kids you have, the more money you’re going to spend… but, you can still keep your spending in check with a little preparation.
I thought it would be fun to create a Disneyland Vacation Journal to help capture experiences from a vacation in a child’s perspective. I designed a bunch of fun kid-friendly templates with themed writing prompts to help give kids a jumping off place for recording their experience. There are also several blank photo pages so they can glue in photographs, ticket stubs, maps, receipts, etc. These books are easy to make and simple to use! I hope you enjoy them and they keep a magical record of your children’s Disneyland Vacation forever!

I’m excited today to share a new version with 20 Things to Do at Disneyland When it’s Packed: Updated for 2016. Luckily, a few of my favorite things have stuck around, so you may see a few repeats. Keep in mind that Disneyland is ALWAYS changing, so just because something is offered now, doesn’t mean it will always be around. Honestly, I think it’s part of the fun and why I like to go to Disneyland so often. I never have the same vacation twice!
What to pack depends on whether or not you are flying or driving, and how much space you have in either case. But, there are some general rules that you can follow either way. Remember, even if you have gobs of space to bring your entire wardrobe, you’ll be living in close quarters while on your vacation and over packing is not a good idea.

Today marks the official beginning of Holidays at the Disneyland Resort, and since so many families visit during this magical time of year, I thought it would be fun to share all that’s going on. It is so much fun to share a Disney related craft each month, but it seems like lately the universe is buzzing with just one thing… Star Wars! With the new movie coming out right before Christmas and Star Wars Season of the Force coming to Disneyland in just a few weeks, I knew I had to make something that celebrated the two.
This year has been extra special as the Diamond Celebration kicked off over Memorial Day weekend. With the changes, some of the seasonal celebrations have had some tweaks this year, which means that the holidays (both Halloween and Christmastime) are going to be unlike any other year at Disneyland.
