In middle school, my sister and I were notorious for having to chase down the school bus every morning. Our lateness was mostly due to the sheer number of times the snooze buttons got pushed, but being typical middle school girls who need their time in front of the mirror didn’t help either. I think our bus driver wanted to kill us! I do remember always having some sort of breakfast in my hand while running, though. My mom was great about that! From smoothies to waffles to breakfast sandwiches, she always made sure we didn’t start our school days hungry. If you’ve got kids (or even a spouse) who’s always on the run in the mornings check out these quick & easy breakfast ideas to keep them from going without. It is the most important meal of the day after all! 😉
