Fall is definitely my favorite season. The cool weather, the leaves changing, digging out my warm blankets and slippers… so many things! But, a big part of why it’s my favorite season are all the flavors of fall: pumpkin, peach, apple, cinnamon, candy corn, caramel, cranberry, eggnog, OH BABY! My mouth starts watering right around…
I’ve put together the top 10 reasons to book with a travel agent before your next Disneyland vacation. Now, as a disclaimer, this article applies strictly to Get Away Today, because it is my favorite travel agency and I can only vouch for it. 😉
Hello! I’m Mariel… owner of this blog, ‘Or so she says…’, finish carpenter’s wife, and a mother of 7. I’m also a whole slew of other things, but we’ll stop there, for now. These are my most favorite people… Despite this pic being a little old, you can see that I have several teenagers in…

I have tried many cinnamon rolls in my life, as I’m sure you have. It seems that most are either too dense, too hard, don’t have enough frosting, or just don’t taste that great. At one point, I was a loyal daughter, committed to my mother’s cinnamon rolls. But, one day my sister-in-law brought over…

Bread pudding is definitely at the top of my ‘favorite desserts’ list, but there’s something about it that just seems hard and time consuming. Oh my friends, it’s not. I have been blessed to be a step-mother/mother to the GREATEST 9 kids on earth for almost 9 years (and also a darling son-in-law). We literally are a “his-hers-and-ours” family. Our family’s journey has been very difficult in some ways, but my husband and I have been determined to build a strong and happy family in spite of our situation. From the beginning it was very clear that I had to give it my best efforts if I was going to be able to help everyone heal. We have not been perfect at this. Much of creating a blended family is trial and error, but I am a firm believer that we can create our own happiness in just about any situation. The things I’m sharing are things I have learned along the way. I’ve talked to a lot of our kids as well and asked them what has helped. They had a lot to say, and it was fun to hear their perspective. When you read the following tips, remember that much of this is THEIR perspective.
I thought it would be fun to compile a general FAQ list with our top questions and answers. Keep in mind that with most questions about Disneyland, the answers are going to depend on a few things. See what’s been compiled today on the blog!
Hey Ladies! It’s Mariah, here again sharing some of the best breastfeeding products with you today! I’ve been breastfeeding my little man for 11 months now. It’s been quite the adventure, but I’ve learned a lot and come across some really great products along the way. However, with this being my first baby, I’m DEFINITELY NOT an expert on the subject. That’s why I asked the wonderful and amazing ‘Or so she says…’ Facebook followers for their recommendations too! Whether you’re a brand new mom not knowing where to start or a mother of six looking for upgrades, I hope you can find something on this list that will make your breastfeeding experience a better one…
