Crayola Color Wonder Mess Free Art ~ Giveaway (she: Liv)

When my little artist first started exploring the world of color, she had Color Wonder markers and paper. The markers are all white, but magically transform from colorless to colorful when they touch the special Color Wonder paper. And it’s not like those old coloring books I remember having as a kid- the kind where you only have one marker and you use it to reveal the color already on the paper. Crayola has a huge selection of markers, coloring pages, plain paper and even finger paints. Crayola sent some of their new products for me and the kids to try, and they’re so great for mess-free art!

Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Food Storage Planning (she: Liv)

It can be expensive to purchase fresh foods year round, and that’s why I love having a pantry, or “cantry” (can + pantry) at my disposal; I know I’ll always have some backup fruits and veggies on hand for when the farmer’s market finally closes up shop for the season (any day now, right?!). Work Space Makeover for Under $75! (she: Liv)

I recently moved my laptop into my basement “office” and the area needed SO MUCH HELP. It’s also the guest room, the room where we have a piano, and the room in which we’ve set up the electric trains so I’m not always tripping over them upstairs. It’s been a bit of a disaster trying to work amidst all the clutter the last couple of weeks. Working with DaySpring Christian Celebrations to specifically find items to enhance my work space with uplifting messages is just what I needed! It motivated me to take steps toward really making the desk space conducive to my work needs.

Popsicle Invitations – Simple and Almost FREE to Make! (she: Liv)

My daughter’s been attending swim lessons in the late morning while my son and I watch from the sidelines of our local indoor pool. It’s hot and humid while we wait, but it’s better than having to slather everyone up with sunscreen and sit in the sun at the outdoor pool. But even with the benefit of being inside, when we get home the first thing my son says is “WE’RE HOME!” followed by “Eat a Popsicle?!” It’s lunch time when we get back from swim lessons, but since it’s so. stinkin. hot. lately I almost always indulge the kids and let them start their meal with the original summertime treat. That’s why I’m so glad I get to partner with Popsicle today and share our experience with some of the new flavors they’re tucking into that iconic yellow box this summer.

3 Ways to Make Shopping at Walmart Better (she: Liv)

These days, with two kids, shopping can be a huge challenge. Whether it’s for groceries or household goods, I hate securing everyone in the car, lugging them in and out of stores (which is no fun for them, right?!), searching for things on my lists, all the while trying to keep track of everyone. That being said, I love a store like Walmart that has everything I need in one place.

7 Books Dad will LOVE for Father’s Day (she: Liv)

I absolutely love reading books, and I had so much fun going through the Barnes & Noble Father’s Day Gift Guide to get some ideas to share with you. Luckily, my husband is also an avid reader, so doing this with him in mind was perfect. I hope it’s helpful for you, too, as you think about what to give the men in your lives.

10 Mommy and Me Date Ideas (she: Liv)

Aspen was an only child for almost four years, and she was pretty spoiled having all my attention almost all the time. When her brother, Lincoln, was born, we made a special effort in our family to ensure she didn’t suddenly feel left out. In the *almost* two years since Lincoln was born, I occasionally have little dates with just Aspen. Today I’m sharing a list of 10 Mommy and Me date ideas that you’ll want to check out!

Mother’s Day Movie – A Fun Night Out with the Girls! (she: Liv)

The moms (and one Mr. Mom) in The Mother’s Day movie come from different walks of life and they, too, have to reconcile their personal approach to parenting with that of others. They have to contend with blended families, feelings of inadequacy and rely support of others when life doesn’t go as planned. I can’t wait to see it in theaters for a girls’ night!
