After a fabulous round-up last week of 25 of the yummiest ideas for Christmas breakfast, I decided to make today all about desserts! I rounded up 25 of my favorite recipes that would be great for Christmas dessert. Ones I’ve tried and loved, and ones that I’m anxious to try. I hope you find lots of sweet inspiration today!
When you’re done checking out the yummy treats, be sure to check out the link party down below, where everyone will be sharing their great ideas. Link up, visit new blogs, and come away with some fun ideas.
So, on our recent Disney Cruise (did you read about it?? If you ever want to go on one, check it out!) I became obsessed with Creme Brulee. I thought I wasn’t a fan of it. But oh, I was. I was. I just didn’t know it yet. I literally ordered Creme Brulee for dessert every single night!
When I got the assignment to do something ‘peppermint,’ I was having a hard time. I had already shared a favorite Peppermint White Chocolate Trifle, so… what to make, what to make. I called my mom, who is a cooking extraordinaire, and she suggested Peppermint Creme Brulee. It turned out awesome, if I do say so myself.
Happy November to y’all at Or so she says I’m in a bit of denial this year about the Holidays… what happened? A whole year gone. It’s time to get in the swing of it and what better way than to get some Holiday Baking going on in the kitchen? This Spice Cake with Cream…
Hey,’ Or so she says …’ friends! It’s Cathy from Lemon Tree Dwelling, and I’m so excited to be back with you today… sharing my first Christmas post! In my world, as soon as Halloween is over, the holiday season might as well be here! I start planning our Thanksgiving menu, picking out Christmas presents,…
“We’re Thankful for Pie Night!” It’s okay to be thankful for pie, right? It makes everything in the world good, right? At least that’s what I tell myself!
We celebrate Pie Night on Thanksgiving Eve (Wednesday night) because, honestly after a big nice Thanksgiving dinner who has any room left for pie? This way we can have all the pie we want & then will still be hungry for Thanksgiving dinner the next day. Win, win I tell ya! We have every family invited bring their favorite pie & then we go to town. If we’re not with family for Thanksgiving we have a nice Pie Night at our home with our friends. Such a great tradition!!
Well….it’s just about that time! Time for Halloween!! Which, around here, means enough candy to last the rest of the year. I don’t know what it is, but for some reason, my kids seem to come home with a bigger haul than I ever remember as a kid! And even though their dad and I go to town on it for a good week or so, there is always enough left over that I am convinced we will never need to buy candy again. And, for a long time, we don’t! Because after the first few weeks of candy-mania, we all tend to lose interest….and whatever is left in the bag is sure to be left there for a long time! But I’m thinking this year might be different. I’m thinking this year I’m going to have some fun with all the candy that’s left come mid-November! Starting with these White Chocolate Candy Corn Buckeyes.

One of my favorite sweet combinations is peanut butter and chocolate. Whoever first came up with combining them IS A GENIUS! We can’t get enough of it at our house. And these cupcakes are perfect for the chocolate/peanut butter lovers in your life! Honestly, the peanut butter frosting is beyond amazing! So, just know that when you make these you’ll probably end up eating your weight in frosting…you’ll be lucky if there’s any left for the cupcakes!

I’m a huge fan of fall flavors… apple, pumpkin, caramel, ginger, you name it. My sister-in-law, Bonnie, who has fabulous recipes (my favorite cinnamon rolls and chewy cereal treat!) hooked me up with this new favorite, Gingerbread Crumb Cake. So, Dan is funny. He will basically only eat chocolate desserts, so if I make anything non-chocolate, i.e. Gingerbread Crumb Cake, I’m on my own. So, I have to plan my non-chocolate dessert making very, very carefully. Will I be able to keep myself from eating the whole thing? Do I know anyone in close proximity who will help me eat this? Can I find some privacy to eat a third helping, if I so choose to? … lots to consider.
I’m currently working with a personal trainer, a rock-hard body building chick, who kicks my trash on a regular basis, which I seriously need. I have been allotted Sunday as my ‘free day,’ where I can eat what I want. That’s it. So, I make my chosen dessert Sunday (after planning it all week), and eat it Sunday.
Hey, Everyone! It’s Cathy from Lemon Tree Dwelling here to share a simple and delicious fall recipe with you. I don’t know about you, but as soon as the leaves start to fall, my mind turns to all things pumpkin! Pumpkin bread, pumpkin lattes, pumpkin pie…..is there anything better at this time of year? I’ve been having a blast getting creative with pumpkin in my Lemon Tree kitchen….and I’m so excited to share this fun and festive recipe with you today!
There are some things that go particularly well with pumpkin…..like ginger…..and some things that go particularly well with everything…..like white chocolate! So, I thought, why not mix them all together!? And, since I love all types of candy bark, I thought it would be fun to make one specifically for fall. For all the pumpkin lovers out there!

One of my favorite treats is a York Peppermint Patty straight from the freezer. I love going home during the summer because my parents always have a big box of them stored in their freezer. What a delight! (I don’t dare do that at home or I would constantly binge!) And incidentally that’s not the ONLY reason I like going home!:)
And if there’s one thing better than a frozen peppermint patty, it’s a Frozen Peppermint Patty PIE!! And it literally takes about 10 minutes to throw this bad boy together & you don’t have to worry about heating up your kitchen in the process! So throw this together and …taste the sensation!
