I don’t know about you, but I’m so excited that the holidays are here! There’s one thing that I always think of when I think of the holidays, and that is FAMILY! So, I thought I’d share a simple Family Night idea on being GRATEFUL our families! Because after all, our families are what’s most important! Right?!
This flavorful and colorful roasted vegetable medley can be made ahead and reheated so you aren’t competing with the turkey and stuffing for oven time right before Thanksgiving dinner. It is also fabulous served at room temperature–so don’t sweat trying to serve it warm.
Since we have traded goalie gloves for guns around here, and since my dreams of having my son support me in my waning years with his soccer earnings are evaporating, it would appear I am going to have to adjust my designs for my child. No biggie, I can see all the positives for his new-found hobby.
This game is as simple as it appears: print out the scripture and two sets of the matching cards. Whoever makes the match has to describe an example of someone with that gift! A fun family night game, perfect for delving just a little deeper into these important verses.
Because Disneyland is not something families get to do all of the time, it’s important to know which Disneyland splurges are worth it and which aren’t. You’re way less likely to overspend on your Disneyland vacation if you make a plan and know what you’re getting into. So, to help make your planning a little easier, I’ve put together a list of three Disneyland splurges that are totally worth it in my opinion, and a couple that aren’t.
When my little artist first started exploring the world of color, she had Color Wonder markers and paper. The markers are all white, but magically transform from colorless to colorful when they touch the special Color Wonder paper. And it’s not like those old coloring books I remember having as a kid- the kind where you only have one marker and you use it to reveal the color already on the paper. Crayola has a huge selection of markers, coloring pages, plain paper and even finger paints. Crayola sent some of their new products for me and the kids to try, and they’re so great for mess-free art!
Thanksgiving is coming right up and with Halloween behind us, now is the perfect time to decide on some new Thanksgiving traditions to start this year! Get some ideas on the blog today.
Hello! So excited to share this delicious 3-ingredient meal with you, Salsa Verde Chicken! It’s meals like this one that save our sanity some nights. This one takes basically no effort other than remembering to throw it in the slow cooker, yet it is so yummy! We have served it both over rice and wrapped it tortillas and loved it both ways!
We have all been blessed with talents and around our house I always teach my kids that practice makes us better. I thought it would be fun to create something fun for both me and the kids this month. My kids love being creative and I have been practicing my hand lettering this year. I thought a hand lettered printable coloring page would be something fun that we could all do together.
‘Tis the season for pumpkin everything everywhere – including at the Disneyland Resort. My family recently went to Disneyland during Halloween Time and we got to try the famous, seasonal pumpkin twists. We loved them so much that I created our own copycat Disneyland pumpkin twist recipe when we got home. Since pumpkin season should last through the entire holiday season, I thought this would be a perfect treat to share. When you show up to your holiday parties with this copycat Disneyland pumpkin twist recipe, you’re sure to feel like the fairy godmother.
