Christmas at Disneyland is one of the most magical times of year to visit. But, you’ll need to do a little bit of planning for your Disneyland vacation to go off without a hitch. I’ve put together 5 tips for Christmas at Disneyland to help make your vacation the best ever.
My two youngest boys are both dreaming of a Marvel and DC Comics bedroom. I can’t promise that it will happen, but we’ve had a lot of fun checking out all the cool products and handmade goods out there. These are our most favorite, non-cheesy, non-cheap-looking favorites… because you know, sometimes character products tend to lean that way. I’ve included a couple items for baby too, because a Marvel & DC Comics themed nursery would be so rad.
Sometimes we get stuck in a dinner rut and eat the same things week after week. This meal helped pull us out of our rut and it was refreshing to try something new and have it be well received by the whole family (including the 18-month old!). I can’t say I’ve ever had Japanese Yakisoba before, so I can’t speak for the authenticity of this dish, but I can speak for the deliciousness!

It’s no secret in my family that Halloween is my very favorite holiday. In fact, if we’re being really honest…I’m completely obsessed with the entire month of October! We’ve recently moved and I’ve noticed how the stress and chaos of it all has started to affect our family. We’ve had more contention, less patience and you know the rest of the story. We all have those periods of time in our families.
One night recently, we sat down as a family and I asked the simple question, “What makes a strong family?”. One by one we talked about that question and made some decisions of things we could do to strengthen our family. A couple summers ago at a summer festival I got some mac and cheese from a food truck. It was topped with bbq pulled pork and all my mac and cheese dreams came true. So, I knew I had to re-create it. It’s a great use of leftovers you may have, and it’s an awesome combination of flavors I think you’ll love.
RH was the most diabolically clever mouse there ever was. I think he was toilet trained, because he never left droppings. I also am convinced he was smarter than me. He stole the bait out of my traps, ignored the mouse poison I had set out for him and even put two perfect little paw prints in one of those sticky traps (how the heck did he get out of that one??). It was like he was putting his hand-prints in cement for the Hollywood walk of fame, just to let me know that he was there. He was a ninja among mice.
