When children have a solid anchor at home, they are more likely to stay out of trouble and be a positive part of the community. I wanted to think of a family night lesson and activity that would demonstrate this act of “being bound together” in a visual way. These blueberry lemon scones are just what you need for breakfast or for mid-morning tea!
Fresh blueberries and lemon are made for each other. Add them to a scone and you’ve got an amazing treat! And then to top it all off, I added a lemon glaze! Super Yummy!

Traveling with kids, especially little ones, can be pretty stressful. But in my experience, it’s always worth it! I’ll share my tips for making traveling with preschoolers a little bit easier so you can plan the Disney trip of your (and their!) dreams.
I’m excited today to share a new version with 20 Things to Do at Disneyland When it’s Packed: Updated for 2016. Luckily, a few of my favorite things have stuck around, so you may see a few repeats. Keep in mind that Disneyland is ALWAYS changing, so just because something is offered now, doesn’t mean it will always be around. Honestly, I think it’s part of the fun and why I like to go to Disneyland so often. I never have the same vacation twice!
