Homemade Pesto - quick, easy, and fresh!

Homemade Pesto in 5 Minutes (she: Christina)

Hey ya’ll! Christina from FoodApparel.com checking in. I was trying to THINK GREEN and THINK SPRING when I posted here last, and guess what? It’s GREEN outside and it’s SPRING! Yay! This homemade pesto is a sauce that features basil as one of the main ingredients. I love serving this simple sauce over angel hair pasta. It makes for a really quick dinner on a busy day. You can grill up a chicken breast and throw it in there as well. The beauty is this sauce literally takes 5 minutes to put together. And if you want to, you can put any leftovers in an ice cube tray, freeze, and then bag it up to save for another day. Nice, huh?

What To Do With All Your Digital Photos (she: Lindsay)

How do I backup my photos? How should I organize them? Where should I print my pictures? What should I do with all my digital photos?

Although digital photos have made it possible for anyone, anywhere to document their life stories through photos (which is amazing), it has also created a problem where we have SO many photos and no idea how to manage them or display them in a meaningful way. I initiated a Picture Display Movement (because sometimes I give myself authority to start my own movements) hoping to inspire others to do something with their photos. And I wanted to take some of the ideas from there to give you a quick-and-dirty guide on what to do and where to start with all your photos after you take them. I present to you, what to do with all your digital photos:

How to Make a Dress From Pre-Smocked Fabric – In Less Than an Hour! (she: Cami)

Hi! It’s Cami from TIDBITS, and I’m so glad to be here again today! I’m going to share with your how to make a dress from pre-smocked fabric because it’s that time of year again.

The time when you pull out your kids’ clothes for the warmer months – only to realize they have outgrown every item of clothing from last season.

And you reflect on the fact that they are growing faster than the weeds outside – and that is saying something.

Or is this just me?

There’s nothing better than having a fresh desktop staring back at you, especially when your email inbox is the exact opposite.

Gift Ideas for One Year Old, Boy or Girl (she: Mariah)

So… I’m probably going to start crying while writing this post. My baby boy is turning one at the end of the month! How did this happen?!? I swear it was just yesterday that the nurses placed him in my arms and I fell in love. Now he’s wobbling around the house, unraveling toilet paper rolls, putting rocks in his mouth, and dumping out my baskets of folded laundry! Yet, even with the steady increase in mischief-making, I’m still SO crazy about that kid. With his first birthday coming up I thought it’d be helpful to consult the ‘Or so she says’ Facebook followers for gift ideas!
