With the Wizarding World of Harry Potter opening at Universal Studios Hollywood on April 7, there is no greater time to be a Potter fan. We cannot wait to experience for ourselves Hogwarts castle, Hogsmeade, and the many treats we love so much about the Harry Potter universe. So until that day, we have some amazing magical Harry Potter inspired recipes you can make at home!

So, here’s a little story. I have this sugar cookie recipe that I really love… they’re soft, chewy, and super addicting. I had a sweet reader try them, liked them, then mentioned that if I love those, I will surely love her Gingersnap Cookie recipe. Just like the sugar cookies, these Gingersnap Cookies are soft, chewy, and so amazing. I’m soooo glad she sent me this recipe! They’re definitely a new go-to.
My daughter always wants to help me in the kitchen. Many times I am in a rush and don’t take the time for a little helper. As parents we can get so wrapped up in our busy schedule and the responsibilities of life and parenthood, that we may forget the importance of time with our kids. So we headed into the kitchen to make these chocolate covered strawberry crispy rice treats.
Today, I’m delivering a daily installment of Cinnamon Puff Rolls. a.k.a. Cinnamon Cigars or Cinnamon Puff Pastry Rolls. Cinnamon Cigars doesn’t sound very appetizing does it? Who’d want to eat a cigar? Eww! These Cinnamon Puff Rolls are ridiculously quick and easy to make. Just a case of whisking a small amount of dry ingredients together and sprinkling over the dough, rolling the dough up, and baking – hey presto!
The other day I thought it would be fun to whip up something fun for Halloween. I thought these mini monster cookies would be a hit with the kids and get them in the holiday spirit. These would be fun to make for a halloween party, or forgo the candy eyes and make them for any party!
These Chocolate Rolo Melt Cookies are so quick and easy to make and taste phenomenal thanks to the indulgent chocolate flavour, and melted Rolo ooey-gooeyness. No dough to roll out too! So, let’s just get this whole ‘yummiest EVER’ thing out of the way up front. You see, this recipe is nothing new to the world of Pinterest, but most of the recipes out there use Cool Whip and Instant Pudding, which is completely fine, but will not yield you the yummiest eclair cake ever. So take heed, my friends, and give this a try. It was carefully crafted by the experts at Cook’s Country, who meticulously create and test recipes with the best ingredients, until they’re perfection.
Well… it’s officially back to school season and while you are probably crying over the prices of school supplies and clothes, here is a cheery little treat idea for you and…get ready for it…a FREE printable to go with it!!
So today, I’m sharing this simple, fun, back to school treat that you will most definitely have time for (it took me like 10 minutes…for real!).
School is starting up soon for my kids, so we are trying to squeeze in as much fun as possible! We’ve hiked a lot of trails as a family, but I’ve also taken my 4 kids out by myself, and sometimes we hike with friends. They love it every time! One of the ways we like to fuel up before a hike is with a smoothie. Since my kids love No-Bake Cookies so much, we came up with a no bake cookie smoothie!
Chocolate Fudge S’mores is the epitome of awesomeness. A layer of graham cracker crumbs (digestive biscuits), smothered in a gooey moist chocolate cake, then topped off with ooey gooey roasted marshmallow fluff – all in one mug!
Peach season is one of my favorite times of year! Fresh peaches are delicious in so many different foods. You can have fresh, wholesome ice cream with just a handful of ingredients and a little bit of time. This one is so easy to put together that it’s perfect if you have little helpers.
